Gap & readiness assessment
Phase 2 turns the current-state model into a picture of where the organisation stands and what’s in the way. It runs as an AI job you trigger, then review.
The six gap dimensions
Section titled “The six gap dimensions”eavantage assesses the current state across six dimensions:
- Capability coverage — are the capabilities the strategy needs actually present and owned?
- Process maturity — how well-defined and repeatable are the processes?
- Data quality — is the information the business runs on trustworthy?
- Team agility — the delivery organisation’s agile maturity.
- AI readiness — readiness for AI-augmented ways of working.
- Framework alignment — alignment to the client’s chosen delivery framework.
Each finding is a gap, classified by severity. Critical gaps carry the strictest gate later — see The six phases and the gates.
The deeper AI-readiness assessment
Section titled “The deeper AI-readiness assessment”When the AI-readiness domain pack is active, Phase 2 also runs a dedicated agentic-readiness assessment across its own set of dimensions — organisational, data and context, technology and engineering, process, and governance / risk / control. This is the flagship assessment; the “AI readiness” dimension in the six above is the summary view of it.
The outputs
Section titled “The outputs”- A readiness score.
- A migration-complexity read (for a migration engagement).
- A process delta — how far the current processes are from where they need to be.
- Framework-alignment detail.
Reviewing gaps
Section titled “Reviewing gaps”The gap register lists every gap with its dimension, severity, description, and the sources it was inferred from. You can accept, adjust severity, suppress, or merge gaps. A suppressed or unlocked gap change may need an admin’s approval.
The gate out of Phase 2
Section titled “The gate out of Phase 2”You advance once the gap register is reviewed and the assessment is complete enough to design against.
