Exporting to EA tools
eavantage exports the approved model one way to four targets:
| Target | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ArchiMate 3 | ArchiMate Open Exchange XML | Validated against the ArchiMate schema before you get the file. |
| LeanIX | LeanIX import format | Fact sheets and relations from the model. |
| Ardoq | Ardoq import format | Components and references from the model. |
| Sparx Enterprise Architect | XMI | Importable into a Sparx repository. |
One way, on purpose
Section titled “One way, on purpose”- eavantage does not read its own exports back in. If a client’s team edits the model in LeanIX after export, those changes don’t flow back to eavantage.
- eavantage does not write to any of these tools. It produces a file you import.
- A client’s existing ArchiMate / LeanIX / Ardoq export that you upload during discovery is treated as a discovery artifact — evidence the AI proposes candidates from — not an authoritative import. See Uploading artifacts.
When to export
Section titled “When to export”Export is part of the implementation handover. Export once the model is stable — after Phase 3 lock — so the receiving tool gets the agreed target state, not a work in progress.
