About eavantage

eavantage is a governance-first, AI-augmented Enterprise Architecture platform for consultants: AI reads a client’s discovery material and proposes the architecture; a human with the right authority approves what becomes authoritative; one module writes the model of record; every step is logged.

It is a product, not a company — licensed, self-hosted software that a firm runs inside its own environment.

The thesis

Adding AI to enterprise architecture is not the hard part. Plenty of tools now read a document and draw a diagram. The hard part is being able tostand behind what comes out — to answer a client, an auditor, or your own principal when they ask how you know the model is right and what the AI actually touched.

That answer is a governance problem, not a modelling one. eavantage is built around it:

  • Judgement stays human. Gap disposition, recommendation approval, target-state decisions, and sign-off are always a person’s call. AI extractions are reviewed before they enter the model — committed automatically only when several independent structured sources already agree, and reversible even then.
  • Exactly one module writes the authoritative model. Nothing else can, ever — so the model of record has a single, controlled path in.
  • Every step is on an immutable trail — what was proposed, who approved it, what it was derived from, who signed off at closure.

Features are copyable. A governed process that holds up under scrutiny is the harder thing to build, and it is what the work actually needs.

The honesty stance

A governance-first product loses more from one overclaim a prospect later disproves than it gains from a confident-sounding sentence. So the rule for this site, the documentation, and any conversation you have with us is the same: we describe what the product does today, and we name what it does not.

Some parts of eavantage are more developed than others. TheCapabilities page names the strong areas and the weak one. The Security page states plainly what reaches the language model and what protections are and are not in place. The Licensing page states the price and what the licence does and does not cover.

If something on this site turns out to overstate what the product does, that is a bug, and we want to hear about it.

Who is behind it

eavantage is founder-led and small. Today the same person who builds it also runs enterprise-architecture engagements with it — which is why the product is shaped by real delivery work rather than a feature checklist, and why early releases and upgrades are hand-delivered rather than self-service.

The growth path is to license eavantage to other firms — peer EA consultancies and internal enterprise EA teams — so they can run it themselves. If that is you, the best next step is a conversation.

Who eavantage is for

  • Independent EA consultants who want AI to compress the document-reading and deliverable-formatting without giving up ownership of the judgement.
  • Boutique EA consultancies running many clients from one deployment, with each client held as a separate, fully partitioned tenant.
  • Internal enterprise EA teams doing the same work inside one organisation.

More on the mechanics: How it works.

The best next step is a conversation.
