These are plain-language terms for the website. A formal version is being finalised with legal review. They are not the eavantage software licence, and not the evaluation-trial Terms of Use — both are separate agreements.
What the site is for
The site explains the eavantage product, hosts its documentation, and lets you contact us. You may read it, link to it, and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. Everything on it is general information.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use the site unlawfully or in a way that infringes someone’s rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure, or probe or scan it;
- interfere with how the site works for others — including overloading it, bypassing rate limits, or automating abuse of the chatbot or contact form;
- scrape the site at scale, or use it to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission;
- submit anything false, malicious, or unlawful through the form or the chatbot, or impersonate anyone.
We may restrict or block access if the site is being misused.
The chatbot and the contact form
- The assistant’s answers are generated automatically andmay be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are not advice, not an offer, and not a binding statement about the product. Confirm anything important with us directly.
- Don’t put confidential or personal information into the chatbot — your input goes to a third-party language-model provider (see thePrivacy policy).
- Submitting the contact form creates no obligation on either side. It is a request to talk.
Intellectual property
The content of the site — text, design, graphics, the eavantage name and wordmark — belongs to us or our licensors. Please don’t reproduce substantial parts of it, or use our name or branding, beyond linking to the site, quoting short extracts with attribution, and any use the law expressly permits. Third-party names on the site (for example, EA tools we can export to) belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
No warranty, not advice
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be accurate, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Product information describes the product in general terms and is not a guarantee of any specific capability — where the site says a capability is partial or absent, rely on that. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, security, or professional advice.
Links to other sites
The site links to third-party sites (for example, a cited research release or a provider’s documentation). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes
We may update the site and these terms. The current version is the one on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
